Summer Wrapped. What’s Next on Your Seeker?

After a summer of opening apps and collecting badges, you might have a few new favourites on your Seeker.

Seeker Summer has wrapped, but there’s more to explore on your phone. And if you’ve been thinking about an app you’d like to build, CLOCK IN is open through October 8. 🛠️

Here’s what’s happening.

The last badges of Seeker Summer ☀️

Round 4 brought Seeker Summer to a close with eight quests across four apps. You could mine with MINE by Offline Protocol, test your survival skills in MattleFun, deliver ramen in Bakeland, or build a yield strategy in Backyard Finance. 🍜 Revisit the final round’s quests.

In Bakeland, 65% of players explored beyond the Seeker Summer quests. The game also reached more than 16,000 players, with around 650 playing at once at its peak.

MINE reached more than 20,000 monthly active users and recorded over 25,000 Seeker Summer quest completions.

Across all four rounds, Seekers earned more than 100 million SKR and collected 300,691 badges across 16 participating apps. Thanks for spending part of your summer exploring with us. ☀️

Your Round 4 SKR could be waiting 💰

If you completed Round 4 quests, open Seed Vault Wallet, go to the Activity tab, and select Check Available Allocations to see whether SKR is waiting for you.

Round 4 allocated 30 million SKR, with allocations of 1,000, 2,000, or 3,000 SKR across three participation tiers. Some Tier 3 participants received an additional allocation.

USDC Earn arrives in Seed Vault Wallet 🏦

You can now deposit USDC into the USDC Earn Vault from the home tab of Seed Vault Wallet in supported regions. Earn variable onchain yield through Kamino, with interest accruing and compounding automatically. There’s no minimum deposit, deposit cap, or lockup, and no performance or withdrawal fee.

The vault and its rewards have been reviewed by Certora and Sec3 across multiple audits, and Kamino has completed 20 external audits with no bad debt to date.

A change to how your onchain activity is scored 📱

If you’ve noticed a change in your daily Onchain Activity score, Seed Vault Wallet has updated how it’s calculated. The update gives more weight to everyday wallet use and less to activity created to influence the score.

Your previously recorded days still count. During the transition, your 30-day view will include days scored under both systems. Activity Tracking still covers Onchain Activity, dApp Exploration, and Daily Use.

Help secure the Solana Mobile ecosystem 🔐

If you research security vulnerabilities, the Solana Mobile Vulnerability Disclosure Policy explains what’s in scope and how to submit a report. The Bug Bounty Program covers Seed Vault on Seeker, SKR onchain programs, and the Seeker Genesis Token backend, with eligible rewards worth up to $75,000, paid in SKR under the program’s terms.

Separate Security Grants support research across the Solana Mobile ecosystem. EthelSec is the first recipient.

Mobile builders, CLOCK IN ⏰

CLOCK IN, the Solana Mobile hackathon with RadiantsDAO, is open through October 8. Bring your idea for a mobile-first app for Seeker.

There’s $135,000 in total prizes: $125,000 in USDC shared by ten winning teams, plus a separate $10,000 prize paid in SKR for a creative and meaningful SKR integration.

CLOCK IN now also includes an additional $30,000 prize from ORE for a project that meaningfully integrates ORE.

You don’t need a Seeker to start: build and test on an Android phone or emulator. By the deadline, submit a working APK, your source code on GitHub, a demo video, and a pitch deck or short presentation.

Winners also receive featured placement in the Solana dApp Store, launch support, Seeker devices, and a call with Anatoly Yakovenko. Winning apps must be published in the Solana dApp Store to claim prizes.
